Bromfield Development LLC provides custom construction and property improvement services. The following explains our general approach to consultations, deposits, and cancellations. Individual signed project contracts govern specific project terms.
Free consultations
Initial consultations are provided free of charge. There is no consultation payment to refund, and an inquiry does not obligate you to proceed with a project.
Deposits and custom work
A signed project agreement may require a deposit for scheduling, materials, permits, or other project preparation. Deposits become non-refundable once materials have been ordered or mobilized, permits have been obtained or paid for, or other project resources have been mobilized, as provided in the signed agreement and permitted by applicable law.
Project cancellations
Notify us promptly by phone or email if you need to cancel or change a project. Cancellation procedures, notice requirements, charges for work already completed, and any eligibility for a refund are determined by your individual signed contract. Custom-ordered materials and incurred permit or subcontractor costs may affect the amount available for refund.
Refund requests
Contact paul@bromfield.info or call 617-347-3654 with your name, project address, and the reason for your request. We will review the request against the signed agreement, work performed, and costs incurred, and communicate the applicable resolution. Any approved refund method and timing will be confirmed directly with you.
Your contractual and statutory rights
This policy does not replace your signed agreement or limit cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights provided by Massachusetts law. Where an applicable law requires different treatment, that law controls.
